Clearance Stock
We source our clearance film from the end of Major Motion Picture features. The batch numbers on the stock are very recent and, unless otherwise stated, lie within manufacturing guidelines for resale.
A Factory Sealed roll of film has not been opened.
A Shortend is the unexposed remainder of a roll in a magazine that is clipped and placed back in a can for later use.
A Recan is film that was loaded into a magazine but not even partially shot.
A Wind Down is a roll that has been wound down in a lab for use in a specific type of camera, mainly where Kodak no longer manufacturers this type of roll length anymore, for instance 200ft.
We recommend that any clearance stock is tested before use, although every care is taken to source and store the material correctly.
